From just the young age of three, Lily’s life has been intertwined with gymnastics. It was more than just a training ground for her; it was where she took her first steps into the world of gymnastics, where her passion was created, and where her dreams started to be her reality!
Lily’s journey began with her roots at the gym where she attended preschool alongside her brother. This early exposure led her to start formal gymnastics classes very early on. Recognizing her potential rapidly, the coaches welcomed her onto the team when she turned six, a milestone that marked the continuation of her journey within the same gym. This moment laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to gymnastics, one characterized by her dedication and resilience.
Fast forward to her decision to commit to the University of Arizona to take on collegiate gymnastics. Lily found herself drawn to the warmth and sense of belonging that greeted her on campus.

The appeal of the campus was undeniable, but what truly stood out to Lily was the exceptional coaches and the supportive community. Feeling genuinely appreciated by the coaching staff and experiencing immense support from her fellow gymnasts, Lily sensed a strong sense of belonging. The remarkable resources available for student-athletes affirmed her decision, making her believe that the University of Arizona was the perfect fit for her college journey.
With her commitment made, Lily feels a sense of relief along with anticipation. “Now that I’ve committed, I definitely feel less stressed and am glad I get to relax a bit knowing I have somewhere I’m going that I love,” she admits. “I think I’m also just super excited and can’t wait to be a part of the program.” The burden of uncertainty has been lifted off of her shoulders with the excitement of now knowing where her next 4 years will be, making Lily eager to get to Tucson.
Throughout her training, Lily credits her development to the countless hours of guidance and mentorship of her coaches at Crenshaws. With them as her sole mentors since childhood, Lily emphasizes their pivotal role in her growth. Particularly in recent years, they have stood by her side, offering support and serving as trusted mentors whenever needed. Their consistent encouragement, knowledge of the sport, and faith in her abilities have played a crucial role in molding Lily into the athlete she is today, underscoring the profound impact of mentorship and support in her journey.
Lily’s parents have been a constant source of support and encouragement throughout her journey, especially during the rigorous recruiting process. For her, they have been the epitome of honesty and an endless amount of support, always believing in her dreams and aspirations. Her mom, Laura, acknowledges the immense commitment and sacrifices Lily has made to excel in gymnastics, recognizing the valuable lessons she has learned along the way.
