Anderson Baseball is having its annual fundraiser this week. All funds go directly into the program and it is the primary way Anderson Baseball can continue to thrive. Donations are accepted online at the Anderson Baseball Website.
Coach Matthews had this to say:
“The Hit A Thon is the biggest fundraiser the baseball program has. With the limited support the district is able to offer, events like this are necessary for all the athletics programs at Anderson. We are unable to offer these young men the HS baseball experience they deserve, without the support of our community. Each participant is given 5 swings to hit a ball as far as possible. At the conclusion of their round, they take the highest number and solicit their pledges. It is a great event and I welcome anyone that is interested to attend.”
The event is still scheduled to take place this Saturday at 10:00 AM and will be followed up directly by the Alumni Game at 12.
You can make a pledge based on hit distance or make a flat donation to the program. If you would like to, click here to donate.
