“It becomes what you make it”: Anderson Girls’ Lacrosse gets their Rings

In a final celebration of their undefeated 2022 season, the Girls’ Lacrosse team received their rings on Wednesday night. This capped off an undefeated season and state championship victory. This is a memory that all of these players will hold onto forever, regardless of their futures in the sport. To be a part of something so successful is fulfilling in its own right.

While the team has only been around since the fall of 2019, it has quickly become one of the most formidable in the state. The Girls’ Lacrosse program is now regularly producing commits, many at the D1 level.

A 17-0-0 record made for the most dominant season by an Anderson team ever. Not only did they win every game, but they also weren’t close. Anderson routinely won by 12 or 13 goals and was constantly in control of the game.

With a daunting group of returning players, Anderson will make a push once again this season. It’ll be difficult to top the last one, but if anyone can it’s this team.

But With a move to D1 on the horizon and the loss of key seniors, this season may not be a walk in the park like last year. We know one thing for certain though. The Trojans will fight hard, and it will become what they make it.
