Anderson Wresting has performed well at both of their recent meets. Last night, the team had a dual vs Connally High School. The girls narrowly won 15-12, and the boys’ team won handily, 51-18.
Last weekend, both the boys and girls competed at McCallum. The boys in a round table dual, and the girls in an individual. The boys swept their competition, beating LASA 71-12, Navarro 48-30, and Connally 52-22. The girls’ team took 1st overall in their tournament.
Districts are coming up and the Trojans will have plenty of wrestlers that have a chance to win and move even further into the tournament.
